Environmental policy
We commit to protecting the environment through ISO 14001 certification and implementation of our environmental policy.
We have committed to reducing our greenhouse gas emission by 5% CO2 eq annually in scope 1 and 2 via the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTI) from 2019-2024.To reach this, we continuously optimize our production processes to reduce our energy and material consumption. We purchase electricity produced from renewable energy sources and search for possibilities to invest in renewable energy through power purchase agreements (PPAs). We replace virgin materials with recycled materials when possible and push the limits for utilizing circular sources, while ensuring maximum recyclability of the limited waste that we produce.
For procurement, we use the environmental footprint to evaluate suppliers and demand that all our suppliers comply with the REACH regulation. Furthermore, we comply with EU Regulation (EU) 2017/821 concerning conflict mineral sourcing, and require the same from our subcontractors.
