CemeCon's PVD coatings contain various metals sourced from mines around the world. We use conflict materials in our coating machines as they are crucial to the performance of our machines. As a result, some of our products may contain trace amounts of conflict materials.

EU Regulation (EU) 2017/821 imposes on EU importers of tantalum, tin, tungsten, and gold to only purchase from responsible and conflict-free sources (link to EU regulation).

CemeCon Scandinavia A/S does not directly purchase conflict minerals from mines or facilities. CemeCon Scandinavia A/S expects all our suppliers to comply with the Dodd-Frank regulation and be able to provide all necessary declarations upon request.

We require all suppliers to provide conflict mineral declarations using the CMRT (Conflict Minerals Reporting Template), or to otherwise declare that they will conduct due diligence for conflict minerals.
